Decorate Speedwell

The Speedwell Cemetery Board of Trustees will host a Memorial Day event called Decorate Speedwell at Speedwell Cemetery, Cherokee Road, Johnson City. The Trustees would like the community and descendants to participate in a Memorial Day celebration like no other. If you would like to just come and sit down and talk about your ancestor or relative and/or learn more about the cemetery, please bring a chair. Trustees also would like to see every grave covered in flowers. Trustees ask participants to bring cut flowers and place them on graves at Speedwell Cemetery from 10 am to 12 pm. Please no glass jars or plastic bottles.
