Join us for the launch of our new Explore Knoxville Girl Scout patch! The kickoff is April 30, and all participating museums will have special admission prices and activities JUST for Girl Scouts! Please check individual museum hours, as they vary.

Choose from 11 area museums of all varieties to work towards completion of the patch. Patches will be available for purchase at the Museum at Daisy Place.

The following special offers are good for Saturday, April 30 only.

East Tennessee Historical Society: Free admission for all girls in uniform and free admission for one chaperone per girl. Please register by contacting Kendra Owenby at (865) 215-8875 or education@eastTNhistory.org.

Knoxville Museum of ArtAdmission to the Knoxville Museum of Art is always free.  Girls in uniform receive a complimentary bag of art supplies. If you have a group of 12-15, pre-register to receive special programming. Register through Rosalind Martin at (865) 523-6349 or rmartin@knoxart.org.

McClung Museum: Free admission for all. To receive special programming, please pre-register with Debbie Woodiel at (865) 974-2144 or woodield@utk.edu.

Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame: Free admission for girls in uniform, $5.95 for chaperones.

The Muse: Free admission for girls in uniform, $6.00 for chaperones, planetarium show $2.00.

Marble Springs: Free tours for girls in uniform, $3.00 for chaperones. Please pre-register with Anna Chappelle at (865) 573-5508 or info@marblesprings.net.

Ramsey House: Free tours for girls in uniform plus one free chaperone per girl. Pre-register with Judy LaRose at (865) 546-0745 or judy@ramseyhouse.org.

Mabry-Hazen House & Bethel Confederate Cemetery: Free admission for girls in uniform, $5.00 for chaperones. Pre-register at (865) 951-6614.

Blount Mansion: Free admission for girls in uniform, $4.00 for chaperones. Pre-register at (865) 525-2375 or info@blountmansion.org.

Knoxville Zoo: Registration for Scout workshop required to participate. The workshop is free for girl scouts, but all others (parents, siblings, etc.) are $12.00 per person, which includes admission to the zoo.  For groups, one chaperone for every 5 girl scouts in their group will be admitted free. Girl Scout Museum at Daisy’s Place: Special Saturday, April 30th, opening of the Daisy Place Museum for the Explore Knoxville patch launch.  Museum will be open from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. As always, FREE admission and tours will be available.  This is the ONLY location, on April 30, you will be able to purchase the Explore Knoxville patch and other Girl Scout merchandise!
