Join experts Fintan Mullan and Gillian Hunt from the
Ulster Historical Foundation to learn how to get the
most out of Irish resources and gain tips and tricks for
learning about your Irish and Scots-Irish ancestors.
Program content covers the entire island of Ireland,
not solely Ulster.

• Introduction to Irish and Scots-Irish family history research
• Using land records, including Griffith’s Valuation and tithe and estate records
• Finding census substitutes and other sources for the 18th and 19th centuries
• Records related to the different churches in Ireland
• Emigration from the north of Ireland to North America
