The Scots-Irish in Early Appalachia

Presented by Mark Davidson, an adjunct professor at Pellissippi State Community College. Davidson will discuss these resilient people who filtered out of Pennsylvania into the Shenandoah Valley, the Carolina Piedmont, and eventually into the Tennessee Valley and beyond. Many of them have local ties to this day. This event will be held in the Sharon Lawson Room.
