Floyd A. DeBoef
2016 Award of Distinction
Floyd A. DeBoef received the Award of Distinction for his volunteer work. Each weekend, “Mr. Floyd” can be found at Fort Loudoun State Historic Area, greeting and assisting visitors and running the gift shop, thus freeing staff for other services. He is also credited with being integral to the success of all programs during his tenure. DeBoef is 92, served on a PT boat, and is a veteran of the Normandy Invasion.
