The two-day teacher workshop “Cherokee Culture: Up Close and Personal” attracted teachers from across the state. Featured topics included Cherokee history and language, primary sources from lesson plans relating to the Cherokee in Tennessee, and stories connected to state social studies standards, as well as Cherokee food and dance.
