This work was commissioned as part of the permanent exhibition, The Battle of Fort Sanders, November 29, 1863. The battle was filmed  on a full-scale version of the Northwest Bastion and with this reconstruction new appreciation of the tragic battle comes to light. Narratd by Tony Award winner John Cullum, the film Director Steve Dean dramatically traces the events leading to the battle, recreates the battle, and examines the aftermath. Run time approx. 28 minutes.
