This book is a reproduction of "Standard History of Knoxville, Tennessee," published in 1900, and edited by William Rule with George F. Mellen and J. Wooldridge collaborators. It is an extremely detailed report of the history of the city up to that date, with this version including illustrations of scenes of the city and its surroundings from other publications of the era. More importantly, it also includes a very thorough index, which was not in the original publication, and to the author's knowledge, has not been available previously in print. This edition encompasses nearly 800 pages, is FULLY INDEXED, and with added illustrations.
