An Evening with Vince Vawter

@ East Tennessee History Center
Where:
East Tennessee History Center Bilo Nelson Auditorium
When:
Wednesday, July 11, 2018 - 4:30pm

The Friends of the Knox County Public Library and Union Ave Books will host an evening with journalist and author Vince Vawter on Tuesday, August 7, at 7 p.m. at the East Tennessee History Center. Vawter will speak about and sign copies of his latest book, Copyboy, which will be released on August 1.

The Knox County Public Library, the East Tennessee Historical Society, and WUOT are also sponsors of this event, which is free and open to the public.

Victor, the protagonist of Vawter’s Newbery Honor Book Paperboy (2014), returns in the sequel Copyboy. Six years older and holding down a new job in Memphis in the 1960s, Victor is about to embark on a life-changing mission for his mentor Mr. Spiro.

Copies of Copyboy and Paperboy will be available for purchase at the event.
