Internships

The East Tennessee Historical Society is a leader in mentoring young history and museum professionals. Interns have an opportunity to experience the inner-workings of the museum and public history programs and to interact with professionals.

ETHS internships are for a minimum of 10-12 hours per week and involve work with a consistent project for which there are goals and project-specific objectives. Internships are on a volunteer basis. To inquire about internships, please complete the Internship Application and return by email Oakley@eastTNhistory.org, fax 865-215-8819 or mail to ETHS, P.O.Box 1629, Knoxville, TN 37901.
